Valet Member

Job Description:
 

The Valet Member is responsible for part-time nightly door to door collection of trash and recycling items within assigned apartment communities. As a representative of VB Waste, Valet Members adhere to the company code of conduct and quality standards on service.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect waste and recycling from each unit in the assigned apartment community, and transport to the trash receptacle onsite. Collection must begin and end at the designated time.
  • Inspect and maintain trash receptacles, halls, stairs and floors according to VB Waste standards.
  • Document and report any and all property and resident non-compliance.
  • All other duties as assigned.
     

Qualifications and Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Must maintain valid documentation – Auto Liability Insurance, Driver’s License, etc.
  • Ability to drive locally to other properties as needed.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work during night time hours. Must be available to start at 8 PM.
  • Ability to work outdoors and work/drive in changing weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs, walk long distances, and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
